I've got a new favorite dish this season. I know I didn't invent the heirloom salad with mozzarella, and it's not like I haven't enjoyed a version of this masterpiece 100xs before, but something about this year is different. It's got to be the switch to burratta cheese (a creamer version of mozzarella) and the delicate sprinkle of - get this - Croatian Sea Salt(!!!), a gift from a friend returning from her homeland. I can not get enough of these towers and find myself eating one at least once a day. I even found myself craving one for breakfast this morning which tells you a lot!
