Yesterday, we did the unthinkable - we took the entire family to the de Young Museum for the last day of Bouquets to Art.
And I'm so glad we did. It was awesome!
"The 27th Annual Bouquets to Art features 150 floral arrangements by prominent Bay Area designers and garden clubs that interpret and complement the museum’s permanent collection."
While the baby has not yet developed a passion for floral arrangements, or art for that matter, he was a trooper for the most part, and allowed us to explore the museum for a whopping one hour and twenty-seven minutes. (Thanks, Boo!)
We played games with the big kids, like asking them to figure out which bouquet belonged to which piece of art and to point out the similarities between the two. It was great fun to help them see both the art, and plant life, in new ways.
