I just finished stuffing around 200 plastic eggs.
Every year, we host Easter brunch and an egg hunt here at the house for our neighbors and family. There are always lots of kids, lots of egg and pastry dishes and sometimes a ham (although I don't think I'm doing one this year). My favorite part of the preparation is stuffing the eggs for the hunt.
This year has proved to be the most difficult as each item, in each egg, has to appeal to a child ranging in age from one and a half to twelve years old. I tried not to overdo the sugar.
I filled them with coins, gum, stickers, lollipops, erasers, prezels, bubbles, bouncy balls, gummy eggs and chocolates.
All the colors in these images just make me smile and wish I was still a little kid.
Maybe I am.
