These are some pictures I snapped while visiting my friend, Stephanie, in Boulder last July. At the time, I was installing this project and she was eager to jump in and help me, which made the huge task more bearable. One night, I drove out to see her new home in Boulder before we took in dinner downtown.
The first thing to catch my eye when stepping into Stephanie's home was this beautiful painting that greets you right when you walk in the front door. "Oh that...I painted that in college," she said casually.
Above is the top of a credenza by the front door. What I loved about this is that I have a sample of the SAME wallpaper pinned-up in our guest bath. I would love to use it someday as well.
A mid-century chair reupholstered in a Maharam fabric, topped with a pillow in one of Stephanie's stunning textile designs, Lotus.
The master bedroom. I hope I have my story straight here - that headboard is a reupholstered 1960's office cubical divider found randomly somewhere and scored at a steal!
Above is a shot of the family photo wall in the hallway. The newspaper print if of her mother-in-law's modeling days in the 1950's completely drew me in.
The kitchen table illuminated by a hanging pendant - another one of Stephanie's designs.
Here S. shows me some incredible vintage wallpaper she had recently lucked-out in finding. She plans to use it above the vintage medicine cabinet behind her.
